Last call is 30 minutes before closing. The only days we are closed are Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. We close early on Super Bowl Sunday, Christmas Eve, and New Years Eve. What is the cost for a tasting?
Our individual tasting fee is $15 per person. Group tastings for 8 or more are $20 and are done in a private area with one of our wine educators. These must be booked in advance and require a prepayment/deposit for 8 reservations. Our Experience Tour/Tasting is $25 per person. For the tour private times may be reserved for groups of 8 - 20. Any tipping for excellent service must be in cash.
Do you take reservations for tastings?
No reservations are needed or taken unless you are with a group of 8 to 20 people in which case, they are required. For parties fewer than 8 people, tastings are done first come first serve at our main tasting counter. I have a large group. Can we come without a reservation and can you handle a group tasting reservation of this size?
Arrivals of any large parties without a reservation may be declined from entering the grounds and winery. We ask that all groups over 8 in size make a reservation for a tasting. We have lots of indoor and outdoor areas for seating; however our indoor seating is limited to groups of 12 or fewer. Private tastings can be accommodated for groups between 8 and 20 in size. We require that you make a group tasting reservation prior to 3pm so that it does not coincide with our afternoon rush on the weekends. If traveling by bus or limo a party over 8 must have a reservation for a tasting. Absolutely no outside alcohol is allowed to come off of the vehicle. Any visible intoxicated patrons will not be able to be served. Making a group reservation does not include reserved seating or a dedicated area after the tasting is complete.
Can I call ahead and reserve tables for my group?
No, all seating on the property is first come, first serve. We do not take reservations for tables. We do have a few semi-private areas that can be rented out seasonaly. Please call the tasting room at 703-830-9463 to inquire or email our events department firstname.lastname@example.org
Can I come out early and reserve tables if I have a large group coming?
All tables and groups, both indoors and on the back deck, are limited to 12 people or fewer. Groups of more than 12 people are welcome to use our lawn area picnic tables. For groups of 12 or fewer, we require the group to be sitting at tables. We do not allow "items" to hold tables. Any food brought must be set up on the table where you are sitting. We do not allow tables for food only. No outside tents of any type permitted.
Do you sell food or have a restaurant?
We do sell a wide selection of gourmet cheeses, meats, crackers, baguettes, spreads, and various snack type foods. Due to health department restrictions, all of our food items are prepackaged and disposable utensils are used (unless a special event with a caterer). We do not have a restaurant on site or serve meal sized food items.
If more substantial platters are needed for hosting groups or parties, they can be ordered through a preferred caterer and delivered directly to the winery at your desired arrival time. For more information, please download the menu by clicking below. Orders can be emailed to email@example.com.

Yes, we do allow for guests to bring their own picnics and snack type foods on a limited basis. Any food brought into the tasting room must be kept to a minimum so as not to take away from the ambiance of the winery. Any and all food must fit at the table you are sitting at as we do not allow "food only" tables or tables used as buffet stations.

Can we bring decorations and gifts if we are celebrating an occasion?
We allow decorations and gifts only out on our lawn area or with the rental of a private space.
